Here’re some fun shots from the caregroup of JEDI & Hope Brisbanites back in S’pore for hols! Apologies for the blur-ness coz’ it was taken with a phone camera & the ppl were moving coz’ they were acting! ;o It was a really fun night which brought out some of the characteristics of Jesus through the bible stories.
1st play: Jesus the all-powerful (calms the storm)
- really creative way of acting out the vessel & Jesus! ;o
2nd play: Jesus the Holy one (Jesus clears marketplace at God’s temple)
- animals galore & a Jesus who tried his best to act angry!
3rd play: Jesus the forgiver & healer of our soul (forgives the adulteress)
- i really love how Jesus was portrayed here! have you ever wondered what Jesus wrote on the sand?
4th play: Jesus the healer (heals the lepers)
- a powerful healing story that is seldom highlighted. I appreciated this story much more when i learnt how treadful leprosy can kill someone-pretty much like aids of nowadays.
All in all, everyone really enjoyed seeing the bible stories come alive! Each story actually teaches us much more than what we acted out as well. Indeed, it was a visual reminder of the goodness of Jesus in our lives
