A Night by the Pool SIde, with food and MuSiCzz

Welcome Welcome.. yes a beautiful combination Pool Side with FooDzzz & MusicZZ.. Who needs to go the high class restaurant haha!! Just on last saturday, Jedi celebrated a belated “MOON CAKE Festivalz”.

Yeah and of cos.. the one of the best thing was the food was all home cooked!! Ah.. now we know there are many potential CHEFS in Jedi.. There was Nasi Lemak, Bee Hoon, Special BoNeLEZZ ChickEN WINGS (THe hottest), Healthy Sandwiches, Fruits Salad, Puddingzz… Wow.. the aroma of them still lingers in my mind.. (yummzzzz) Defintely, there was also moon cakes.. of a variety for all.

Up came next was games and sharing.. EVeryone.. was laughing at the heads off in “Pass the message”.. Cant imagine how a long phrase and be turned into words n sentences.. Sally, the organiser briefly share abt the history of Moon Cake festival… It’s like travellin back centuries.. Not only that, everyone got a opportunity to carry a lantern and walk ard in the dark.. it was great experience for many visitors of different nationalities..

Last BUT NOT LEASTZZ>>>> Megan, winner of UNVeiled.. with Henry on guitar and David on Er-HU… performed a song.. Angelic voice and soothing musics.. It ended the event on a perfect tune!! Everyone was tired yet satisfied with all the food, games and fun!! I am Defintely lookin for the more events coming up.. Stay Tuned….!!

How Far Is the Far EasTern Square???

Allo Allo ALlo… the question was on my mind as I made my way with the rest to FAR EAST SQUARE.. Actually it wasn’t that far jus that we somehow headed to the wrong direction somewhere along the line. Thank God we all still manage to reach there.

Finally its the start of the LEADERS’ Dinner!! It was held at a thai restaurant, buffet (no-fat) style.. rest assure to eat all you can! Haha.. well of course the main thing is not to just eat and eat and eat. It was a celebration treat from Mr and Mrs Leong!!! To thank God for the things He has done in Jedi group and individual as well.

So thus good food (yummy), great sharing (encouraging), God’s presence.. It is jus such a great atmosphere whereby the Jedi 1,2,3 leaders & JGs gathered. It truely encouraging to see how God has move in the group and individuals as well.  We are fed to the brim, physically & spiritually. I must admit, we seems to be the noisiest bunch around.. well the joy from the Lord cant be contain and IT MUST EXPRESSED!!! The dinner ended with some coolz and crazy group photo taken..

We all will be looking forward to seeing greater things be done within the JEDI!! PRaise God and also thanks to Mr and Mrs Leong (CN & Christine) !!

Fireworks Celebration and Jabez’s Birthday!

It was double joyous occasion as we celebrated jabez’s birthday as well as heading for the Singapore Fire works celebration 2008 at esplanade during the evening.

Jabez struck me as a very persevering person with a ‘never-give up’ attitude. Those who know him can testify also to his humility and also his persistence by looking at the amount he has to go through and deal with each and everyday.

So glad to have you in our midst and supporting us faithfully. May God continue to grant you towers of faith and testimonies of God’s good works in your life.

The fireworks celebration on the other hand was certainly eye candy for those who have yet to see fireworks “live”. See below for some of pics of fireworks captured.

Rocking the Nexus’ Stage and seats!!!

Greetings to all, rocking and shaking of Nexus Auditorium happened every praise and worship of God!! But on last Friday the 29th, Nexus was rocked by the talents of many individuals put together to “Unveil” the Stage!

Here go the lists of finalists: BUTTERFLY BLACK (Lovely Armagedon Butterflies??), JJ (“Are they more than friends?? – MC), August Rush (feel the rush..whooozzz), Megan the Soloist, L-Force (Living, laughing or lame??)

Each Group & Individual really put up a great performances… with beautiful, cute, strong voice & the synergy of the muscial. The whole audience was simply wow & wooed by the them.. Whistle screaming away, applause exploing all around, light sticks dancing simply add on to the atmosphere!!!

When it come to an end.. the results of the “Unveil” contest was reveals.. lst in placing was none other then “MEGAN THE SOLOIST” with her song “Journey” by Corrine May. With her strong, powerful, crystal clear voice.. she sang her heart out bring the audience on the a soothing journey after a week of work…For me was the journey with God.. though tough but always filled with excitement!!

2nd in place is…. “BUTTERFLY BLACK” with their song “I dont wanna miss a thing”.. Truely.. it really lived up to the theme song of “Armagedon”.. Romantic feeling fluttered arouund.. everyone.. It kinda reminded of God’s undying love for us all!!

Congrats to all the Winners & participants!!! Truely a great performance by all.. and everyone enjoyed and cheered their hearts out as well.. AH.. now.. I am begining to think of the talents… i have..hahaha.. (ItS a SeCret!!).. Well, everyone has a hidden talent somewhere as we are all uniquely different!!! Till then.. seeya!!
